BaseThread LLC is the controller of personal data processed through AI Search Analyzer. We don’t sell personal data, show ads, or share data for cross-context advertising.

Public website content and third parties’ data
We analyze public web pages. They can incidentally contain personal data (for example, names on team pages). We don’t build profiles of individuals from crawled content, we keep only what’s needed to show evidence for findings, and site owners can request exclusion (see the Crawler Policy).
AI and data providers
To produce results we send website URLs, page excerpts, business descriptions and prompts to AI providers and search data providers through their APIs. We don’t send your account email to AI providers.

The free scan uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated traffic. It runs invisibly, with nothing to click. Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum describes the data it processes for this.
Cookies and analytics
We use only essential cookies (sign-in session, security). Analytics are cookieless (PostHog, Cloudflare Web Analytics). Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals turn analytics off.
Retention
- Anonymous scans: deleted after 30 days
- Free account audits: kept while the account is active; detailed page evidence pruned after 90 days
- Paid audits and history: kept while the subscription is active, then 90 days after cancellation
- Crawled page content: snapshots only, pruned with the audit
- Account data: until you delete your account
- Billing records: as required by law (held by Paddle)
Your rights
Access, correction, export and deletion; delete your account anytime from Account settings. Additional rights depend on where you live, including the UK and California (CCPA/CPRA): we don’t sell or share personal information, and you can request to know, delete or correct it.
Regions and transfers
Not offered in the EU/EEA. UK legal bases: contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement) and consent where required. International transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
Encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access to production data, isolated fetching of websites, and provider-level security at Cloudflare.
Children
The Service isn’t directed to anyone under 18 and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
