AI Search Analyzer

Acceptable Use and Crawler Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

You must not

  • Use bots, scripts, AI agents, browser automation or multiple accounts to run scans, bypass limits or extract results; use the API (when available) instead
  • Scrape, bulk-download or resell our results, scores or AI answer data, except client reporting on the Agency plan
  • Use the Service to probe, attack, overload or gain unauthorized access to any website, including non-public pages, login areas or internal networks
  • Submit URLs designed to reach private networks or abuse our crawler
  • Use results to harass, defame or impersonate anyone, or misrepresent our findings as an official certification or as endorsed by any AI provider
  • Reverse engineer the Service, interfere with its security, or circumvent bot protection
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful

How our crawler behaves

  • Identifies itself with a clear user agent and a link to our crawler page
  • Fetches only publicly accessible pages, with conservative rate limits and caps on pages per scan
  • Respects robots.txt for our own crawler, and reports on it for others (we show whether AI crawlers can access your site, which is different from obeying it ourselves)
  • Never submits forms, logs in, or executes actions on your site

Website owners

  • To stop our crawler, disallow our user agent (AISearchAnalyzerBot) in robots.txt
  • To request that your site be excluded from analysis by others, or to have stored snapshots removed, email hello@aisearchanalyzer.com from an address at that domain

Enforcement

We may rate-limit, block, suspend or terminate access that breaks this policy, without refund where abuse is clear.
